"Double Exposures" is a deeply personal and intricate journey into the realm of photography. My inspiration stemmed from the works of the eminent American photographer, Duane Michals. I decided to create my project strictly using in-camera double exposures, without any post-production effects. This decision was born from my desire to capture the essence of spontaneity and unpredictability that comes with the rawness of the in-camera process. Michals' dreamlike aesthetics and emotionally evocative works have always resonated with me. In an attempt to mirror his profound impact, I combined two subjects, which in turn gave birth to an enticing mix of mystery and ambiguity. The unpredictability of in-camera double exposure isn't a challenge to overcome; instead, it's a magical randomness that I invite into my artistic process, producing outcomes that stir emotions and provoke thought. In "Double Exposures," you're not just seeing a photograph. You're experiencing a dance between chance and intention, witnessing the depth of human perception, and the unfathomable layers of our emotions.
